OKTK App: What can be understood from Android and iOS labels

These eight texts are the visible parts of the App presentation. No files were taken from any button during the observation, and no software was installed on any device.

Here “seen” means it was written on the public page. This does not mean that oktk.beer is the source of any file, App publisher, store listing owner, or installation security tester. This site only explains dated snapshots.

What was not seen

During the observation, no version number, release date, package name, developer or publisher identity, file size, digital signature, official store listing, requested device permissions, or update history text was found. Without any of these, just seeing a “download” label does not confirm the source or identity of the file.

For the same reason, this guide does not declare any specific APK as original, safe, latest, or suitable for Bangladesh. The Android and iOS labels were both visible, but it could not be read what store, test distribution, or web shortcut was implied for iOS. For Android, it was also not tested whether it was a direct package or another path.

When reading any App-related claims, at least four levels need to be kept separate: seeing a platform name on the page, actually finding a file, matching that file's publisher and signature, and understanding the requested permissions after installation. The first level is present in this observation; the next three have not been tested. Therefore, the visible label cannot be used as an alternative for the subsequent levels.

What to look for before reading App or APK claims

Just because a page mentions Android, iOS, or “download” does not guarantee the publisher or security of a file. To make a decision about a specific App, the publisher's name, version, package identity, update date, store listing, and file signature must match each other.

APKs with similar names may belong to different publishers. A file cannot be called an OKTK verified App just by looking at the file name, advertisement image, or a download button. Before installing, it is also necessary to read what permissions the app is requesting and whether those permissions are related to its functions.

oktk.beer does not provide any APKs, QR codes, store badges, or direct downloads. The purpose of this page is to explain the difference between visible claims and the necessary information for verification; it does not endorse any file as original, safe, or up-to-date.

Mobile browser vs installed App

An open web page in a mobile browser and an installed App on the device are different technical forms. A web page operates within the browser's address and permissions; installed software may use a different package, update system, and device permissions. Just because a responsive web page is seen does not mean there is an App with the same features, and similarly, just because an App label is seen does not mean the login, game, or payment behavior of the web and App can be assumed to be the same.

No login, game play, payment, camera/file permissions, or push notifications have been checked for this page. Therefore, there are no comparative claims regarding real use, performance, data collection, or security. The usable decision for the reader is to keep visible labels and absent source information separate.
